Our Programs & Initiatives
We hired Pastor Aqeel Khan and his wife Saima (along with the volunteers) to be the immediate caregivers of the orphans and placed them in a three story house, and called it The House of Peace. We provided the traumatized orphans a safe Christian nurturing environments where they are provided hot meals, clean drinking water, toiletries, beddings, bunk=beds, cupboards, study tables, computers, refrigerators, and all basic thing just like our own children in America. We want to send them to school and raise them in a friendly Christian environment to make the good productive members of the society.
Clean living
The orphans used to belong to the poor, marginalized, and deprived life. HOP provides them clean bedding, towels, bathing, and exercises hygienic living.
Good Food
Our children get nutritious, healthy, breakfast, lunch, dinner , snacks and fruits which is a blessing in a country where many children die of scarcity of food and malnutrition.
Education Support
We want to educate the children who have no means and resources other than your support. If we don’t education to the orphans they can be recruited by the drug-dealers and sex-trafficars. The vulnerable girls and boys can turn into haters, sex workers and God knows what not.
Healthcare & Nutrition
Hose of Peace provides safe, healthy nurturing environment to live a better life. The orphans are going to schools as well as church and hold a regular Bible Study under the leadership of Pastor Aqeel and the volunteers. They are taught etiquettes, manners, socializing, respect and tolerance along with virtues and ethics.
